October 10 2026 was World Homeless Day – an opportunity to reach out to people who live on the streets.
Recognised across more than 100 countries to draw attention to housing needs, advocate for better policies, World Homeless Day is a global initiative that promotes local action.
Providing food for homeless people is one of our core activities. It was encouraging to see youth from Regina Pacis in Ladysmith getting involved, serving cooked food from Food for Life to needy people in their community.
